Rusk Horse Rescue Services

We have decided to help out our horse friends in need by starting a horse rescue program. All of the horses that we receive will be evaluated for their ability to work for us here on the ranch and good homes will be found for those that are too tender for employment here at the Pines. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to help out in any way with our new endeavor.

Long time return guests Debbie and Arlyn C. enjoy our mountains and horse program!

Please meet our good friends and long time return guests Arlyn and Debbie C. from Lewood KS.

They came for their first week in 2002 and we have been back every July since! Last year they were unable to stay with us but did stop by for a day of riding on their way to another event! Debbie told me that when they come to visit the ranch she sets her favorite music so she can hear the best part as they drive over the last hill and see the Sangre de Cristo Mountains! We agree with Debbie; it is one of the most stunning sights in the world and such a privilege to see!

We value their friendship; appreciate their love of our area and loyalty to the Pines!

Joe Fawcett

Joe is a multitalented individual! His experience with business management and office skills were just what we were looking for when he contacted us during the summer of 2008! We had no idea that Joe was also very talented at party and event organization, gorgeous table and landscaping decorator plus sketch artist and not afraid to try any task here at the Pines!

He spent last summer working in the office, kitchen, housekeeping, as ranch photographer and guest airport shuttle plus he found the time to produce many guest sketches as treasured memories!

We look forward to welcoming Joe back this summer!
